‘A Strange Hour in Budapest’ – in Budapest

Another live screening event for ‘A Strange Hour In Budapest’ is to be held in Europe. The events accompany Recoil’s Blu-ray release of the full concert film, directed by Attila Herkó. On September 28th, a premiere for the film will take place in the most appropriate city of all – Budapest. The original venue where the concert took place (Szikra) has unfortunately closed down so the screening event will take place in what is regarded as the coolest independent cinema in town – Toldi Mozi.

With its high-end digital screening system and full 5.1 audio system, Toldi Mozi only seats around 200 people – so be quick as tickets will go very fast. We may hold a second screening on the same day to accommodate numbers but this is still to be confirmed. The venue also hosts a very friendly bar/club area where the film projection will be simultaneously displayed.

Each cinema presentation features surround sound and Alan Wilder will be in attendance to host a Q&A session & discussion about the ‘Selected Events’ tour and film project. There may well be some guest artists and special signed items for sale – plus other goodies – all followed by an Afterparty with Bar & DJs.

Entry prices for all screenings will be kept very reasonable as a “thank you” to everyone who has invested in the Blu-ray disc. More screening dates to follow – so come and enjoy ‘A Strange Hour In Budapest’ in all its cinematic glory during September & October!
